SQUARE FEET SELF STORAGE - HOW IT WORKS
We offer secure and flexible self storage units of a variety of sizes from Student Lockers (10 sq ft) to 150 sq ft Units.
Book the unit that is right for you, and store your items. With long opening hours, you'll be able to access your possession's 7 days a week.

Entry and Exit


HOW DO I GET ENTRY TO MY UNIT?
At Square Feet Self Storage, you can enter the facility and your unit using just your mobile phone. Before your move in date, you will receive a NOKE (Pronounced "No Key") text message to your mobile phone with instructions on how to set this up. It will require the download of a Square Feet App from either the Apple or Android app stores. Downloading the app and gaining access is simple, but if you are in any doubt we recommend moving in on a weekday, where we can be reached on the phone for any queries.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE APP?
Follow the instructions on the text message sent to you, which will take you to the Apple or Android app stores, depending on which device you have.

I DON’T HAVE AN APPLE OR ANDROID DEVICE. CAN I STILL GET ACCESS?
Yes you can, though you will need to use a Fob which requires a deposit payment. Call us on 01236 368405** if you require one, either before or after booking your room.

WHY WON’T THE ROLLER SHUTTER/SLIDING DOORS/UNIT DOOR OPEN FOR ME?
If it is before 8am or after 8pm, the doors will not allow access. Please ensure you leave the facility before 8pm. If it is not opening for another reason, contact us on 01236 368405**

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

Our Shutters may be down, but don't worry we're still open, Your App will open the shutter to allow access and Customers can access the facility 
7 days a week, 365 days a year from 8am to 8pm**

Our Reception is open by Appointment if you wish to view the facility.

Our phone lines (01236 368405) are open, 8am - 8pm

** Hours are subject to change at the Managements discretion but will be published on the Website, The App and posted in the Facility.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M IN MY UNIT AFTER CLOSING TIME?
You can exit your unit and the facility but you cannot re-enter until 8am, Please ensure you have left the facility by 8pm.
**It is Strictly Prohibited to stay in your Unit or any part of the Facility overnight, this will result in immediate eviction and termination of your contract.

WILL THERE BE ANY EMPLOYEES ON SITE WHEN I ARRIVE?
 Unless you have previously arranged to meet a member of our team on site, it is unlikely there will be any members of staff on site when you arrive, but we are always on the end of the phone or we will gladly meet with you onsite by appointment.

Packing and Unloading my stuff 

IS THERE ANYONE ON SITE TO HELP ME UNLOAD OR LOAD MY POSSESSIONS?
While employees are sometimes on site, you should always plan to unload and pack your items yourself, It is "Self Storage" after-all. 
Employees are forbidden under our Health and Safety Policy and our Insurance Cover to assist in moving customer goods incase of injury to themselves or damage to your possessions.

ARE THERE ANY STEPS TO ENTER THE FACILITY?
No. Our Yoker facility's entrance is at ground level with no steps.

HOW CLOSE CAN I PARK TO MY UNIT?
Fortunately we have a large car park, so you will be able to park directly outside the entrance to the facility. It is then a short walk into the facility and to your unit.

ARE THERE ANY DOLLYS OR TROLLEYS AT THE SITE TO AID WITH UNLOADING/PACKING?
We provide dollys and trolleys on site to help you with unloading, but these MUST be returned after use to the Trolley Area and MUST NOT be retained in your storage unit and MUST NOT be removed from our facility.
And PLEASE, DO NOT let your children use these as skateboards or Go-Karts, they are for moving storage items only!, we accept no responsibility or liability for injuries caused while using this equipment...Any misuse may result in your storage agreement being terminated.

Booking my unit


CAN I BOOK ONLINE?
Yes you can. Simply follow the online instructions and you can complete your booking.

CAN I BOOK BY PHONE?
Yes, though it will take longer and the lowest available prices are online.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE THERE?
You can pay using any major Debit or Credit Card, including American Express.
We are a Cash-less Company and No Money is held at the Facility.

CAN I CANCEL BEFORE I MOVE IN EVEN THOUGH I’VE SENT YOU MY PAYMENT DETAILS?
Yes you can. To cancel your booking, either log in to your Square Feet account online, or call us on 01236 368405**  You will not be charged if you cancel before your move in date.

CAN I CHANGE MY PAYMENT CARD?
Yes you can. Log into your online account, click on 'View Payment Details' and add a new card.

Moving out


I WANT TO MOVE OUT AND/OR CANCEL FUTURE PAYMENTS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
The quickest way to move out is to sign in to your Square Feet account online and cancel. If you require any assistance, call us on 01236 368405**

I WANT TO MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY. CAN I GET A REFUND ON PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE?
You can move out at any time (subject to opening hours). However, payments are made monthly in advance and are non-refundable.
